Rocco's Ristorante Pizzeria

This was the first time I had pizza at Rocco's. A friend recommended Rocco's and I had driven by. Tonight, my family had the opportunity to enjoy their pizza. Their pizza was made with tasty toppings and crispy crust. Fresh ingredients! The sausage and sauce was seasoned well. They had a variety of items on their menu, satisfying meat and vegetarian foodies. I like the photos and memorabilia on their walls. Friendly staff. Definitely recommended.

Favorite pizza place in Walnut Creek. Usually super busy. It can take time to have food delivered to the table. I’ve had experiences where they were so busy they forgot entire entrees or brought us the wrong items. But I still go back. The vibe is fun and lively abs the food is Delicious!! This particular experience my friend and I got our food really fast. There were some open tables. It was great. Bar area is seat yourself. Dinner area is seated by host. If you’re ordering f a large pizza, mention the “large for the price of a medium” coupon and they’ll give you the discount. Gnocchi is great with Alfredo sauce or creamy pesto. The lasagna and cannelloni are baked in a dish and come out Piping hot. They take a very long time to cool down. All the pizzas are awesome. The Caesar salad for two is huge. Desserts are fun. Vegetarian risotto is a favorite. The veggies are cooked perfectly. The salt water fish tank in the bar is beautiful. Staff are all friendly. Rocco is usually around some night. Good guy. Always takes care of us.

GREAT food, great atmosphere & really great staff!! We moved to Livermore years ago & we have NO problem driving into Walnut Creek now & again to pick up a whole meal! That's appetizers, a couple of pies, (leftovers the next day!) A beautiful salad & their garlic cheese bread never makes it home! It's warm, soft, cheese stretchy goodness fills up the car with it's wonderful aroma... Love this place!!

This is our go to place for really good pizza but tonight our pizza looked like it was dropped and the crust had a big hole in the bottom. We wanted to order the family size pasta but apparently it's not offered in house but only for take out except the table beside us had it. We were served the salad and pizza with no plates or silverware. Just not the best experience this time. Hopefully just a bad night.

This place has always been great the past couple decades I've ever stopped in for lunch or dinner. The inside was cool back when and in the last couple years I have eaten outdoors. I haven't had the pizza or cannolis in many years, but they used to be amazing. The last cpl times I have gone, I tried their pasta and it was decent but honestly can't remember what I chose. This last time after an easy hike, we tried their calamari sammie and meatball sammie so we could split both. They were a nice size and value, and came with two sides. We each picked soup and pasta salad. In my opinion, I felt the bread was so thick that it took away from the flavor of the calamari but that's just me. I should have asked for some lemon for it. It did come with a tiny thing of tartar and cocktail sauce on the side though. Overall, Rocco's have been consistent with great food through the many years and is such a staple and our waitress was sweet and attentive and we will be coming back to try the pizza etc.
